We are looking for an on-site Sr. Benefits Specialist to support our team at our corporate location in Blue Ash, Ohio.

What You'll Do

As our Senior Benefits Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for all things benefits. You'll oversee the administration of our comprehensive benefit programs while ensuring employees receive outstanding service and support.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the administration of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), employee stock plans, wellness initiatives, and leave programs.
  • Serve as the trusted advisor for employees, managers, HR partners, and benefit vendors.
  • Drive annual Open Enrollment from planning and testing through implementation and post-enrollment audits.
  • Lead exciting benefits projects, including HRIS enhancements, vendor implementations, process improvements, and acquisition integrations.
  • Partner with brokers and vendors to continually improve our benefit offerings and employee experience.
  • Analyze benefit trends, utilization, and costs to recommend innovative solutions and strategic improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate leave administration and disability programs while providing exceptional employee support.
  • Develop engaging employee communications, educational materials, and wellness initiatives that help employees maximize their benefits.
  • Partner closely with Payroll, Finance, and HR to ensure accurate administration, reporting, and financial reconciliation.

What Makes You Successful

You're someone who enjoys balancing strategy with execution. You thrive on solving problems, improving processes, and building trusted relationships across the organization.

You bring:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience administering employee benefit programs.
  • Strong expertise in health and welfare plans, retirement plans, leave administration, and compliance.
  • Experience working with brokers, insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and benefit vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend improvements.
  • Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems (ADP experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • A passion for providing exceptional employee service.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred. CEBS certification is a plus.
