American Structurepoint’s Construction Solutions Group is seeking candidates to join us for our summer internship program in Cincinnati, OH! As a Construction Solutions Intern, you’ll gain hands-on field experience inspecting construction work, testing materials, and tracking project progress. You’ll also assist with office tasks like reviewing plans, preparing daily reports, and participating in project meetings. Â

Responsibilities
What you will do:Â
- Help keep projects running smoothly by coordinating with contractors, designers, utility companies, and local residents - getting a front-row seat to how everything comes togetherÂ
- Gain hands-on experience with material testing for asphalt, concrete, aggregates, and soils - learning the science behind construction qualityÂ
- Visit construction sites to observe daily contractor activities, document progress, and ensure everything stays on trackÂ
- Use tools like Microsoft Office, Appia, SiteManager, and BlueBeam to organize and report project info - building your tech skills along the wayÂ
- Support real construction projects involving roads, bridges, and utility systems—projects that directly impact communitiesÂ
- Other tasks as needed to support the teamÂ
Qualifications
Qualifications:Â
- Student majoring in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Land Surveying, Structural Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Civil EngineeringÂ
- Valid Driver's License for transportation to the office and between project sitesÂ
- Strong work ethic, clear communication skills, and a genuine eagerness to learn and take on new challengesÂ
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditionsÂ
