Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Electrician to join our team in a dynamic construction site and industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial machine repair and a strong working knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) wiring.

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy industrial machinery, electrical systems, and control panels to ensure optimal operation on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various industrial machines and heavy equipment.
PLC & Control Wiring: Install, wire, and troubleshoot PLC systems, control panels, relays, sensors, and motor controls.
Electrical Installation: Run conduit, pull wire, and install three-phase power systems, transformers, and switchgear in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and prevent hazards.
Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA and site-specific safety regulations, utilizing proper PPE and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing, plant, or heavy construction environment.
Technical Skills: Proven experience in industrial machine troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical repair.
PLC Knowledge: Solid understanding of PLC wiring, input/output (I/O) wiring, and control logic.
Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a demanding construction site environment, lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
Certifications: Valid state electrical license or relevant certifications are a strong plus.
