We’re looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) who’s skilled, motivated, and ready to make a real impact—both in the clinic and with our clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
Â
You won’t just be assisting—you’ll serve as a licensed professional delivering advanced, high-quality patient care:
- Communicate medical information clearly and compassionately to pet owners, ensuring full understanding of diagnoses, treatment plans, and at-home care instructions
- Accurately implement and oversee prescribed treatments, including medication calculations, administration, therapies, and follow-up care
- Perform and support advanced diagnostic procedures such as radiography, laboratory analysis, cytology, and sample collection
- Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia, including continuous assessment of vital parameters and anesthetic depth
- Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and administer fluids, injections, and blood products as indicated
- Conduct patient assessments, triage cases, and promptly identify and communicate changes in patient status
- Maintain complete, accurate, and legally compliant electronic medical records and treatment logs
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and state licensing regulations
- Support efficient clinic operations, including appointment coordination, inpatient care, and emergency response readiness
- Mentor and provide guidance to veterinary assistants and support staff as appropriate
- Collaborate closely with DVMs and the veterinary team to develop and execute comprehensive patient care plans
- Contribute to a positive, professional work environment focused on high-quality medicine and client service
Your Skill Set (Tech + People Skills)
We’re looking for someone who’s not just certified—but confident in their technical abilities:
Proficient in:
- Venipuncture & catheter placement
- Lab diagnostics (bloodwork, urinalysis, cytology basics)
- Digital radiology + imaging support
- Anesthesia monitoring equipment (pulse ox, capnography, ECG)
- Comfortable using veterinary software
- Strong understanding of animal handling, restraint techniques, and patient safety
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment without sacrificing accuracy
- Clear communicator—able to translate “vet speak” into real-world language for clients
- Team-first mindset with a positive, professional vibe
âś… Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technician program (Associate Degree)
- Passed the VTNE + active/eligible RVT license
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred
- Passion for patient care and client education (non-negotiable )
- Must be available to work Monday–Friday with one weekday off, plus rotating Saturdays
