JOB SUMMARY
Prepares food and serves restaurant patrons at counters or tables by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Takes order from customer.
- Completes order and serves customer at table or counter.
- Cleans food preparation equipment and work area, including counter and tables.
- Respect all sanitation rules and regulations.
- When applicable, responsible for operation and accountability of POS cash register.
- Is current on all kitchen safety procedures and acts accordingly.
- Is courteous, friendly and helpful to customers and Team Members.
- Must wear black non-slip shoes or temporary non-slip shoe covers.
- Prepares all food accordingly to established procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Creates an atmosphere of FUN for all casino guests.
- Encourages mutual respect, dignity and integrity with all Team Members, by setting positive examples at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one year related experience and/or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other Team Members of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Must have impeccable presentation and very good people skills. Familiar with sanitation standards for restaurants.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
While employed, you must maintain a valid and active Blue Lake Tribal Gaming Commission License.
