Position Summary:

The OR Support Tech plays a vital role in ensuring the operating room runs efficiently and safely. This position assists with surgical room turnover, instrument transport and sterilization, stocking supplies, and maintaining overall cleanliness in the surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with transporting patients, equipment, and instruments within the surgical department

  • Support operating room setup and breakdown before and after surgical procedures

  • Clean and restock surgical suites with appropriate supplies and sterile instruments

  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report issues as needed

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment according to infection control standards

  • Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Support the sterile processing team with supply and equipment needs

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Previous experience in an OR, hospital, or surgical support role preferred
