The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center to assist in the recruitment of a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Cardiac Rehabilitation team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about patient-centered care and wants to make a meaningful impact in a supportive clinical environment. In this role, the LPN will work closely with Registered Nurses and the broader care team to provide high-quality nursing care, monitor patient conditions, and support patients throughout their cardiac recovery process. Monitor and recognize changes in patient condition and communicate findings to the supervising Registered Nurse. Document patient assessments, nursing interventions, and responses to treatment accurately in the medical record. Participate with RNs and other care team members in discharge planning and patient education. Implement appropriate nursing interventions according to the established plan of care and standards of practice. Administer medications and IV therapy in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Interpret changes in patient status and respond with appropriate clinical interventions. Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations. Provide compassionate care addressing the psychosocial and emotional needs of patients and their families. Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Experience in critical care, long-term care, or assisted living environments preferred. Strong clinical skills including patient assessment, medication administration, phlebotomy, and basic life support techniques. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Completion of hospital-based ACLS and PALS training within the first year of employment.About the Opportunity
