The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center in Blue Ridge, GA and we are in search of Certified Nursing Assistant assists the licensed nursing personnel by performing patient care activities and specific tasks under the direction of an RN or LPN in accordance with Hospital policy/procedures, philosophy, goals and mission. The work is performed in compliance with the established policies of the health care system and reflects the philosophy of the hospital as well as the mission of the department of nursing.

 

Education: Prefer HS diploma or GED

Completion of formal Nursing Assistant Program either at Vocational School or Hospital.

Licenses and Certifications: 

CPR (AHA Course) required and current or with successful completion within 30 days of hire date.

CNA certificate

Experience:

1 year hospital or medical experience preferred.

   General Duties:

  • Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning personal,

          financial, medical and employment status of patients at the hospital and their families.

  • Maintain and develop nursing skills through participation in education programs.
  • Flexible in meeting the needs of the patient, unit and \ or facility.
  • Reports to work at assigned time.
  • Completes unit responsibilities in a timely manner. 
  • Willingly assists other units when requested to do so.
  • Completes annual competency requirements.
  • Maintains open line of communication with nursing administration.
  • Willingly accepts any other assigned duties within scope of care.
  • Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Promotes guest relations among patients and other staff members.
