Full-Time Day Shift RN – Preop Nurse

The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center in Blue Ridge, Georgia. We are hiring a Full-Time Day Shift RN – Preop Nurse for the Surgery/OR Department in Blue Ridge, Georgia.

We’re seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join the Preoperative team in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent patient communication, and experience in preparing patients for surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide preoperative assessments, patient education, and preparation for surgery
  

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure safe and efficient care
  

• Monitor vital signs, review medical history, and verify surgical consents and documentation
  

• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold hospital protocols and safety standards
  

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Georgia
  

• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience; surgical or preop experience preferred
  

• BLS and ACLS certification required
  

• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
