    Salary: $16.00/hour

  • Job Duties:
    • Work with a group of campers to provide a fun, safe, and exciting camp experience.
    • Respond to incidents such as behavior problems or accidents according to camp policies and procedures.
    • Document events and maintain records, discuss concerns with parents when needed.
    • Report issues to Head Counselor.
    • Act as a constant encourager and role model for campers.
    • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Successful applicants must have reliable transportation to and from work.
    • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions for most of the camp day.
    • Preferred experience working in a youth-focused setting.
    • Capable of sustaining energy for participation in a full day's worth of activities.
    • Must attend training week plus work all 10 weeks that camp is open for the summer (40 hours a week).
    • First aid/adult and child CPR certification is required prior to start of camp.
    • Lifeguard certification desired.
    • Must have completed High School or GED.
    • Must submit to/pass pre-employment drug screen/background check.
