Part Time Sales Associate

The Sales Associate will assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include: providing a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware, proactively assisting customers in solving problems, greeting customers, possessing a friendly outgoing demeanor, ensuring all pages and calls are answered promptly, forwarding customer complaints to management, possessing strong product knowledge and store layout knowledge, assisting customers with personalized service, assisting in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment, receiving, checking in and stocking merchandise, maintaining back stock levels, maintaining cleanliness of sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area, assisting with merchandise resets, providing assistance to Department Specialists, ensuring signage is current, operating forklift with proper training, communicating store issues and ideas to General Manager, participating in store meetings, and performing all other duties as assigned. Other requirements include ability to exhibit core values of Service, Passion, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence. Minimum qualifications include High School or GED equivalent, formal retail experience preferred, and physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25lbs, and climb.
