St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Clinical Pharmacy Tech.  The clinical Technician, under the supervision of the Ambulatory Pharmacy Supervisor or authorized designee, will collaborate with clinics and/or providers within the MHN to identify medication regimens and/or find assistance for those individuals unable to cover the cost of their medications and/or copays. Key job responsibilities of this position include collecting information from patients identified for the PAP, enrollment of individuals into the program, program maintenance, collaboration with involved health care teams, and medication reconciliation.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Pharmacy Tech Licensure required for hire

National Certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire. *not required by WVBOP IF grandfathered prior to law change.

 

Experience:

Minimum three (3) years of retail pharmacy experience preferred with focus on insurance navigation, other patient assistance programs, and specialty medications.

 

Certifications/Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle day to day operations of the retail pharmacy setting is preferred.

340B drug pricing program knowledge preferred.

Works well independently with minimal pharmacist oversight. Strong organization ability and solid work ethic is required.
