Purpose:  

 Safely operate vehicles to transport parts, small equipment, supplies, and paperwork for the dealership.   

 Responsibilities:  

  • Transport parts, small equipment, and supplies between dealer facilities may also be delivered to customers. 
  • Maintain records of pickups and deliveries as directed by TRULAND and obtain any necessary signatures and receipts. 
  • Maintain all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA, and company policy as requested by TRULAND Equipment. 
  • Accountable for all time and distance traveled in performing assigned duties. 
  • Maintain a regular inspection of the assigned equipment and immediately report anything on the equipment in need of repair to the manager. 
  • Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion. 
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments. 
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service. 
  • Other appropriate duties as assigned by management.  

 

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:  

  •  High School diploma or equivalent experience 
  • 3+ years’ experience as delivery driver or similar experience 
  • Valid CDL Class driver’s license required (Class A preferred, Class B acceptable) 
  • Driving record that meets insurance company parameters
