Job SummaryÂ
Responsible for staging, loading, and unloading finished products and raw materials as well as, stocking and maintaining warehouse inventory.Â

Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ

Safely operate all Material Handling Equipment and perform the necessary safety checks prior to operatingÂ
-
Always maintain food safety awareness and immediately report any issues to managementÂ
-
Receive material in from vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptlyÂ
-
Verify the quantity, lot, and description of materials received by checking against the packing list and/or Bill of Lading (report/record any discrepancies)Â
-
Perform all necessary inspections and verificationsÂ
-
Correctly attach identifying tag or labels to materials as neededÂ
-
Safely and accurately place materials on shelves, in racks, or other designated storage areas to maintain the identity of preserved food, FIFO picking philosophy, and orderlinessÂ
-
Make all necessary transactions within S4 Hana to ensure inventory accuracy and lot control is always maintainedÂ
-
Comprehend the reading of shipping & receiving documents, gauges, schedules, and dispatchesÂ
-
Accurate and timely staging of finished goods and raw materials and loading of materials onto containers, trailers, vans, and/or carsÂ
-
Move materials in and out of storage safely and without damageÂ

Clean and maintain work area per the daily checklist and master sanitation schedule (MSS). Â

Provide on-the-job training to new employeesÂ

Minimum QualificationsÂ

Forklift certification, M.H.E. CertificationÂ

Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills requiredÂ

High school diploma or GEDÂ

Previous forklift experienceÂ

Manual dexterity required for operating machineryÂ

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds requiredÂ
