Employee Relations Manager  

 

LOCATION: Blytheville - Arkansas  - USA 

DEPARTMENT: HUMAN RESOURCES 

 

Purpose:
Plans, directs and controls the activities related to Human Resources Management for the mill locations and provides personnel administration services.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the proper management of legal/labor issues related to personnel acting as liaison between the company and lawyers.
  • Ensures an appropriate personnel administration ensuring legal compliance in areas such as EEO reporting, Affirmative Action, VETS-100 and FLSA.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations and reports on HR management policies.Provides the company with the most qualified employees and ensures their training is provided according to established plans.Ensures clear and consistent communications throughout Tenaris.
  • Assists in the investigation of industrial accidents and in the preparation of reports for the insurance carrier, as required.Prepares reports, such as job descriptions, organization and flow charts and career path reports, to summarize job analysis information.
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
  • Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and procedures.
  • Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
