Haven Helper-1

Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries is seeking a Haven helper for our Blytheville, AR facility. The Haven helper must safely work and operate all forklifts, Haven, and other duties as assigned. The helper is responsible for assisting the Haven Operator in all functions, including Material Handling, and fills in for the operator in their absence. DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Perform duties in accordance with company safety policies and report unsafe conditions. Monitor product quality. Keep work area clean and orderly. Perform other duties as assigned. Make minor maintenance adjustments to machines with proper training when instructed by Supervisor. SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Must demonstrate understanding of all recut needs. Must have forklift operating experience. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Visual Acuity to read and inspect the product. Measures dimensions of tube using tape, gauge, etc. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull. Must be able to lift 60lbs. Manufacturing/ Industrial work environment. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role.
