RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work from written and verbal instructions and machine schematics.
  • Must be able to read and interpret repair manuals.
  • Welding, electrical, carpentry, masonry, minor plumbing, general building maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair wiring and electrical controls of 277/480 volt and have understanding of higher voltage (1320 volts) on furnaces.
  • Installation or relocation of machinery and equipment.
  • Repair and maintain mechanical functions of machines.
  • Wire panel boards and electrical controls from drawings and schematics
  • Required to sketch machine wiring layouts/.
  • Repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Must be capable of performing all mechanical maintenance.
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

Two years experience in heavy industrial environment preferred.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent
