RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work from written and verbal instructions and machine schematics.
- Must be able to read and interpret repair manuals.
- Welding, electrical, carpentry, masonry, minor plumbing, general building maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair wiring and electrical controls of 277/480 volt and have understanding of higher voltage (1320 volts) on furnaces.
- Installation or relocation of machinery and equipment.
- Repair and maintain mechanical functions of machines.
- Wire panel boards and electrical controls from drawings and schematics
- Required to sketch machine wiring layouts/.
- Repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Must be capable of performing all mechanical maintenance.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
Two years experience in heavy industrial environment preferred.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent
