POSITION INFO:

The Shipping Associate works to promote vision and values by safely handling preparation of shipments and material transfers to support shipping and receiving activity within the Blytheville facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains shipping and receiving processes to promote safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
Maintains appropriate record logs (audits, cycle counts, etc.) as directed by Supervisor.
Assures accuracy of shipments by following the correct established process for material removal and placement.
Proficient with established picking/ packing methods.
Proficient with UPS computer shipping system.
Loads and unloads trucks and vans with appropriate material handling equipment.
Maintains equipment in accordance to established procedures.
Checks incoming freight for accuracy and depositions properly.
Keeps work area clean and orderly.

Respond to plant requests from FAB
Respond to special shipping requirements
Stock placement /removal
Pick special orders as required
Serve as backup to receiving
Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED
