POSITION INFO:

The Shipping Associate works to promote vision and values by safely handling preparation of shipments and material transfers to support shipping and receiving activity within the Blytheville facility.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains shipping and receiving processes to promote safety, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Maintains appropriate record logs (audits, cycle counts, etc.) as directed by Supervisor.
  • Assures accuracy of shipments by following the correct established process for material removal and placement.
  • Proficient with established picking/ packing methods.
  • Proficient with UPS computer shipping system.
  • Loads and unloads trucks and vans with appropriate material handling equipment.
  • Maintains equipment in accordance to established procedures.
  • Checks incoming freight for accuracy and depositions properly.
  • Keeps work area clean and orderly.
  • Respond to plant requests from FAB
  • Respond to special shipping requirements
  • Stock placement /removal
  • Pick special orders as required
  • Serve as backup to receiving
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED
