Your Next Career Opportunity – International Tax Intern

Support the office in general. Implement administrative policies alone or with other team members, performing the following duties.

What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
 

  • Assist with reconciliation of VAT and WHT returns against the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Support the preparation, review, and filing of international indirect tax returns, including VAT,  and withholding tax submissions.

  • Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations of tax accounts, identifying discrepancies and working with accounting teams to resolve issues.

  • Maintain and update tax schedules, trackers, and documentation for compliance and audit purposes.

  • Use Excel to analyze data, prepare reports, and automate recurring tasks where possible.

  • Assist with gathering data for tax audits, inquiries, and internal reviews.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Accounting, Finance, and local business units—to support international tax compliance.

  • Contribute to process improvements, documentation updates, and workflow enhancements within the tax function.

  • Provide general support to other members of the International Tax team on ad‑hoc projects.

What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma/GED plus College Degree seeking student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; or recent graduate and <1 year relevant experience.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).

  • Interest in international tax concepts such as VAT, 

  • and withholding tax.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
