We are seeking a Service Bartender to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. 

Role Summary:

The Service Bartender will be responsible for supporting our cocktail service program by crafting high-quality beverages for the dining room, courteously and efficiently according to hotel specifications. This role is not guest-facing and plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and consistency of our beverage operations. Additional responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service bar area, outlet and equipment, adhering to resort and health department standards. This role will collaborate closely with the restaurant manager and service teams for all dining outlets to uphold smooth operations and timely service. 

We have a full-time position available. This role is a P.M. position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. 

This role is designated for our upscale dining outlet, Angle Restaurant.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• One-year(s) experience as a Bartender or Bar back.
• Food handling certificate.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
• Ability to provide legible communication.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Certification in alcohol awareness program. (desired)
• Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service. (desired)

Essential Skills:

• Ability to understand guests' service needs.
• Ability to access and input information into Micros system.
• Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when preparing drinks and providing service to guests within any given period of time.
• Ability to focus on details.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in determining potentially intoxicated guests.
• Ability to maintain good coordination while preparing and serving orders quickly.
• Ability to exert strong physical effort in transporting cases of liquor and beer kegs from storeroom to bar.
• Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
