Job DetailsJob Location: St Andrews Country Club Property Association - Boca Raton, FL 33496Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.00 - $31.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: AnyJob Category: Skilled Labor - Trades  Position Summary: Diagnose mechanical failures and repairs all golf course related equipment and vehicles according to manual, factory specifications and knowledge of engine performances, using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.Qualifications  Essential Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Attach compression, ignition, and timing tests instruments to certain parts of equipment, using clamps and hand tools. Start engine dials and read meters and gauges of testing equipment to diagnose engine malfunctions. Remove and disassemble engine, transmission and clutches, using hoists, jacks and hand tools. Inspect parts for damage and verify dimensions and clearance of parts for conformance to factory specifications using gauges, such as calipers and micrometers. Replace or repair worn or damaged parts. Grind valves, relines and adjusts brakes, tighten body bolts, align wheel and tunes engines. May weld defective body or frame parts. Keep all blades of mowing equipment in well maintained and sharpened condition. Maintain records.       Knowledge and Skill Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required.     Education & Work Experience Requirements:   Knowledge of 2 and 4 cycle engines, diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, grinding, welding and torch experience       Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
