Golf Maintenance General Labor

Summary

The ideal candidate is essential for ensuring the pristine condition of the golf course. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining the aesthetics and functionality of the course, contributing to an enjoyable experience for all golfers.

Essential Functions

Job duties include, although are not limited to:

• Perform routine mowing and trimming of grass areas to maintain a well-groomed appearance.
• Assist in the maintenance of landscaping, including planting, watering, and weeding flower beds.
• Operate and maintain various golf course maintenance equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Monitor and report any issues related to course conditions, such as pests or irrigation problems.
• Collaborate with team members to execute seasonal projects and improvements to the golf course.

Internal Relationships

Reports to the Golf Course Superintendent

External Relationships

Has regular contact with associates of The Boca Raton

Qualifications

• Previous experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping.
• Familiarity with operating maintenance equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
• Certification in pesticide application or turf management.

Education/Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping and turf management practices.
• Experience with Turf Management

Physical Requirements

Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
