Job Description

BME Fire Trucks is seeking an Electrical Technician to support our Electrical Team. We are a locally owned Fire Truck manufacturer in Boise, Idaho. BME manufactures wildland fire apparatus used in the US and Canada for wildland fire suppression. Be a part of something that makes a difference in saving lives, homes, and our amazing recreational areas. As an electrical technician your responsibilities will include:

Designing and fabricating equipment brackets and wire harnesses
Emergency console buildouts
Installation of Emergency lighting packages
Multi-plex systems
OEM Interface and programming
Install and connect various electric wiring systems.
Install rough electric conduct and boxes according to blueprints.
Pull wires and harnesses through chassis or body.

Requirements

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

Understanding of electrical principles
Understanding of electrical circuits
12-volt experience
Able to work cooperatively with others as a team and with people of diverse backgrounds

This is a full-time permanent position located on site in Boise, Idaho. Occasional overtime may be required. We are a growing company with opportunities for advancement. We offer excellent compensation and full benefits including health, dental, vision and 401k.
