Responsibilities
Treasure Valley Hospital is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to support the safety, functionality, and day-to-day operations of our facility. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing building systems, and helping ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Swing Shift Role & On-Call required.Â

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and facility systems, (preferred experience)
- Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Assist with facility projects, regulatory compliance, and Environment of Care requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and maintenance documentation.
- Support hospital safety, security, and operational standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or related trades (preferred)
- Healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
- Ability to participate in on-call, weekend, holiday, and after-hours coverage as needed.
