Schedule:  M-F, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay rate: $40+ DOE, Hourly
Location:  Boise, ID
Position Type: Full-time
Benefits: This position is eligible for WGNSTAR’s full benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting.  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Verify that Field documents are current versions and revisions.
  • Ensure safety policies are being followed.
  • Ensure safety signage, barriers, barricades, Pre-Task Plans, and JHA’s are current and in place.
  • Ensure the construction area is neat and clean.
  • Track construction field progress versus the schedule and communicate concerns to PC’s and assist in the development of recovery or contingency plans if needed.
  • Coordinate with the needs of system or tool owners.
  • Ensure installed work complies with construction documents and meets quality standards.
  • Attend project meetings, field walks, and sign-off meetings.
  • Coordinate required city permit walks.
  • Expedite Critical RFI’s/ SCR’s and Submittals.
  • QA sign off for Record Drawings match; for Structural and Architectural sheets as required.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of construction experience or a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management.
  • Knowledge of Facilities processes, systems, and technical challenges.
  • Knowledge of Construction materials properties, use, and installation.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand P&ID, shop drawings, and cut sheets.
  • High School Diploma.
Preferred:
  • 2 years if working in a semiconductor environment.
  • Previous industrial construction experience. 
Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. Able to work in constrictive attire, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, have strong manual dexterity as he/she will be occasionally required to work at elevated heights (ladders, stools or other assistive devices).
