Position Summary:
The Finance Manager will partner closely with the Managing Partner to oversee the financial operations of our growing consulting firm, as well as support clients requiring financial management services. This role will contribute to financial planning and analysis, budgeting, reporting, and strategic decision-making, while also managing internal functions including bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, and general accounting for V2V. This is a primarily on-site position in Boise, Idaho and is profiled at 30-40 hours per week. Work hours within the Pacific and/or Mountain Time Zones.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements聽
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes聽
- Monitor financial performance and provide variance analysis聽
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting systems聽
Strategic Financial Support
- Partner with leadership to support business planning and growth initiatives聽
- Develop financial models to evaluate new services, clients, and investments聽
- Provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency聽
Revenue & Project Financial Oversight
- Track project-based revenue, margins, and utilization metrics聽
- Support pricing strategies and contract financial review聽
- Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition聽
Accounting & Compliance
- Oversee and complete day-to-day accounting functions (AP/AR, payroll coordination, general ledger)聽
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards聽
- Manage external relationships (CPA firm, auditors, tax advisors)聽
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and workflows聽
- Support automation and scalability of financial operations
Position Requirements:
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Bachelor鈥檚 degree in finance, accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience in healthcare and/or consulting/professional services (preferred)
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Strong financial modeling and analytical skills聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Excel聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Experience working in a distributed team environment聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Excellent communication and ability to translate financial insights for non-financial stakeholders
