Commercial Roofing Service Technician/ Helper for Roofing Repairs and Maintenance.

We’re expanding our team and are on the lookout for a dedicated Service Technician/ Helper to join our dynamic Service Department.

The Role:

As a Service Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our Service Foreman and delivering top-notch service to our clients. Your day will be diverse and fast-paced, involving everything from project work and repairs to inspections and troubleshooting. You’ll also have the opportunity to interface directly with customers, driving a company vehicle to various job sites, and assisting in multiple projects daily.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Service Foreman with various project tasks and repair work.
Conduct inspections and troubleshoot leaks efficiently.
Interface with clients professionally, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional service.
Drive a company vehicle to transport tools, materials, and yourself to job sites.
Support hands-on project work across multiple projects daily, ensuring high standards and timely completion.
Learn to read and understand work orders, manufacturer warranties, and project specifications.
Maintain basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE, fall protection, and other necessary precautions.
Represent the company and interact with others in an honest, ethical and professional manner at all times

Requirements:

At least 18 years of age
Experience in commercial roofing or a related field, preferred.
Strong troubleshooting skills and a keen eye for detail.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, manufacturer warranties, and technical specifications.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to travel locally when required
