Position Details:
Job Type: Full-time, school year contract
Start Date: August 2025
Locations: Elementary and middle schools near Joliet, IL
Caseloads: Vary by assignment resource, self-contained, or inclusion classrooms available
Support: Ongoing support from Birch Agency and school-based teams
Requirements:
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)
Experience working with students with special needs is a plus
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
