In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Adult Day Program, ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and a positive experience for participants. You will manage staff, coordinate program activities, monitor financial and operational performance, and foster strong relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders while ensuring services remain person-centered and outcomes-driven.Â

Key Responsibilities:Â
• Lead and inspire a team by fostering a positive, supportive, and collaborative work environmentÂ
• Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services for all participantsÂ
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders to support program successÂ
• Supervise, train, and support staff, including onboarding, performance management, and ongoing developmentÂ
• Coordinate participant intake processes and ensure appropriate support plans are implementedÂ
• Monitor staffing levels, schedules, and coverage to maintain efficiency and minimize overtimeÂ
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations including DMH/DD, DHSS, Medicaid Waiver, and safety standardsÂ
• Manage program documentation, billing, and record-keeping to ensure accuracy and timelinessÂ
• Analyze program performance and implement improvements to enhance quality and operational efficiencyÂ
• Promote a culture of open communication, recognition, and continuous improvementÂ
• Advocate for individuals served and ensure services remain responsive to their needsÂ
• Maintain confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and a safe environment for all participantsÂ

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:Â
• Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field requiredÂ
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities requiredÂ
• Relevant experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basisÂ

Additional Qualifications:Â
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance requiredÂ
• Strong knowledge of social services and community resourcesÂ
• Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
• Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and effectivelyÂ
• Demonstrated experience in supervision and team developmentÂ
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-throughÂ
• Proficiency in documentation, reporting systems, and communication platformsÂ
