Position Overview

MAY Management is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Community Association Manager (Assistant CAM) to support the daily operations of multiple homeowner and condominium associations within the Bonita Springs and Naples area.

This role is ideal for an administrative professional or emerging community association manager looking to grow within the HOA/property management industry. The Assistant CAM will work closely with Community Association Managers, Board Members, residents, and vendors to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, professional, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with maintenance coordination experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, or hands-on property knowledge are highly encouraged to apply, as maintenance oversight and vendor coordination are important aspects of the role.


Qualifications

  • Previous HOA, condominium, property management, or administrative experience preferred 
  • Active Florida CAM License preferred or willingness to obtain 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities 
  • Ability to professionally handle homeowner concerns and vendor coordination 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software platforms 
  • Maintenance coordination experience or general property maintenance knowledge strongly preferred 
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment 
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through 
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus 

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Community Association Managers with daily operational and administrative responsibilities 
  • Respond to homeowner inquiries via phone, email, and resident portals 
  • Coordinate vendor scheduling, maintenance requests, and work orders 
  • Assist with maintenance troubleshooting, project follow-up, and vendor oversight 
  • Assist with violation tracking and compliance correspondence 
  • Prepare meeting agendas, notices, and Board packets 
  • Attend Board meetings as needed and assist with meeting follow-up items 
  • Maintain homeowner records, databases, and association documentation 
  • Assist with preparing community communications and resident notices 
  • Support project coordination and vendor follow-up 
  • Conduct routine community inspections as directed 
  • Help ensure compliance with governing documents and association policies 
  • Maintain organized records and operational files
