About the Role:
Join Happy Paws, Inc. as a Canine Specialist in beautiful Missoula, MT! In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for the well-being and happiness of our furry friends while providing exceptional care and training.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and supervision for dogs of various breeds and sizes.
- Conduct engaging training sessions to enhance obedience and socialization skills.
- Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to management.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all canine guests.
- Assist in organizing fun activities and playgroups for dogs.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's progress and needs.
- Stay updated on canine care best practices and training techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and enriching experience for all dogs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in animal care, veterinary, or dog training.
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and training methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Certification in pet first aid and CPR is a plus.
- Passion for dogs and a commitment to their well-being.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift and handle dogs safely.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
