For over 65 years, the Boothbay Region Y has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for all. The Boothbay Region Y, with an operating budget of $2.4M and nearly 100 staff, is a thriving non-profit organization serving more than 3,200 members and program participants with a range of activities. Emphasizing the four core character development values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, we are committed to strengthening our communities by nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility. We deliver subsidized services to adults and families in need and deserving children of the Boothbay region.


Position Summary:

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit to strengthen the community. 


Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Commits to the Y’s mission, vision and values. 
  • Works with supervisor to create and implement procedures and/or programs and/or curriculums.
  • Works with program participants and volunteers to deliver safe, quality programming while adhering to all standards.
  • Builds effective, authentic relationships with participants and connects participants to the Y. 

Education Requirements:

  • High School degree or GED, or working towards completion of high school.
