About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor with flexible availability to the lead teams that maintain our mining equipment. This is an exceptional opportunity to oversee the maintenance of equipment at the mine and at the plant. The role requires a 12-hour rotating schedule with fixed day or night shifts.

While working, you’ll report to the Superintendent, and your duties will include:

  • Prioritizing the safety of people every shift.
  • Leading a team of diesel mechanics and electricians to support heavy mobile equipment such as D-10 dozers,16H graders, diesel production drills, 240-ton diesel electric haul trucks, and electrical shovels.
  • Leading team members while encouraging them to contribute their full potential.
  • Monitoring ongoing maintenance activities and complying with schedules while improving processes.
  • Demonstrating and encouraging professionalism each day.

What you’ll bring

  • Your commitment to keep each other safe.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid state driver's license.
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance of mobile equipment.
  • Leadership skills and experience in supervising a unionized workforce.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with people throughout the organization.
  • Computer skills in SAP and Microsoft Office particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of MSHA regulations.
