Position Overview
Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking a Program Security Representative II to support Department of Defense Special Access Program environments at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. The selected candidate will provide day-to-day multi-discipline security support for one or more customer Special Access Programs, including support across Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information, and Special Access Program activities.
This position requires a strong background in program security, industrial security, information security, personnel security, operations security, and SAP security administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting classified operations, interpreting and applying security policy, conducting compliance reviews, identifying risks and vulnerabilities, and advising government and contractor personnel on security requirements.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day multi-discipline security support for Collateral, SCI, and SAP activities.
Ensure strict adherence to applicable security policies, including the NISPOM, NISPOM Supplement, DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy requirements.
Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI, and collateral information in support of U.S. military operations.
Continuously assess security procedures to identify shortfalls and recommend improvements to security policies, procedures, and systems.
Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks associated with test, training, and operational activities.
Assist in developing, implementing, and training personnel on Operations Security program requirements.
Provide contractor and subordinate facility assistance, support, and oversight.
Brief government, military, contractor, and senior civilian personnel on security-related topics.
Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow-on facility reviews, and facility close-outs.
Monitor, report, and track corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews.
Ensure timely notification of pertinent security matters to program technical and management staff.
Conduct preliminary inquiries into any loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified or sensitive information.
Assist in generating damage assessments related to the loss or potential compromise of classified information.
Coordinate with SAP security personnel to ensure lessons learned are incorporated into SAP security education and awareness training.
Required Qualifications
8–10 years of related security experience.
Experience supporting SAP, SCI, collateral, or other classified security environments.
Knowledge of DoD security policies, SAP procedures, and classified information safeguarding requirements.
Experience conducting security compliance reviews, inspections, facility reviews, or security assessments.
Ability to identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and procedural shortfalls.
Ability to brief personnel at all levels on security policies, procedures, and requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
Certification Equivalencies
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) may count toward 3 years of experience.
Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) may count toward 5 years of experience.
Maximum equivalent experience credit for SPED certifications shall not exceed 5 years.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement, with 4 years of relevant experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
Security Clearance Requirements
Current clearance as defined in the Task Order.
Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting DoD SAP environments.
Experience working directly with SAP security personnel, government program offices, or classified operational activities.
Familiarity with security education and awareness programs.
Experience supporting facility compliance reviews, corrective action tracking, and classified incident reporting.
SFPC, SPSC, or other SPED certification.
Work Location
This position is located at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. On-site support is required.
