Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.

- Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.

- Updates and manages ongoing preventive maintenance program.

- Communicates and works hand in hand with Captain in Charge.

- Responsible for keeping all logs up to date throughout watch as tasks are completed.

- Keeps all systems up to regulations and demonstrates all tests as required by quarterly USCG inspections.

- Manages, disciplines, and reviews all engineering team members on designated watch, in accordance with company policy.

- Plans, manages, and successfully executes ongoing projects in the casino.

- Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

- These skills and abilities are typically acquired through ten (10) years of experience as a Marine Engineer demonstrating the ability to handle growing levels of responsibility.

- in addition, a USCG license endorsed as Chief Engineer of Motor Vessels of at least 4000 Horsepower upon the Great Lakes, Near Coastal Waters, Oceans or equivalent and a Universal HVACcertification required.

- Must have superior mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and HVACskills.

- CPR and Firefighting training is required.

- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.

- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

- Ability to work independently, complete projects, and solve problems with limited supervision.

- Must have the ability to remain calm in emergency or stressful situations.

- Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all areas of the vessel in order to perform accurate inspections.

- Ability to review and comprehend all necessary documentation.

- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.

- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.

- Ability to complete all required certifications.
