Delivers treatment programs, monitors progress, and assists patients in achieving independence. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Carry out PT treatment plans for individuals and groups. Provide therapeutic exercises and activities as directed. Educate patients on mobility and assistive devices. Document treatment and patient response. Report changes to supervising PT. Qualifications Associate’s Degree from accredited PTA program. Current state PTA license. Clinical experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- KSAs Knowledge of therapy techniques and equipment. Ability to follow treatment directions. Strong interpersonal skills. Physical & Environmental Requirements Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients safely. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching. Work in long-term care and healthcare environments.
