Night Custodian / Janitorial Technician

Pay: Starting at $13.85 per hour

DNC Facility Services is currently hiring dependable and detail-oriented individuals to join our custodial team at a private educational facility in Bossier City, Louisiana.

This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and organized environments and who thrive in a structured work setting with consistent routines and clear expectations.

Schedule

Monday – Friday - 6 hr shifts
Evening/Night shifts during the school year
Daytime shifts during summer months for floor care/summer deep clean projects
No rotating schedules
Consistent hours

Position Overview

As a Custodial Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe learning environment for students, faculty, and staff. Team members are expected to follow detailed cleaning procedures and maintain high standards throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash
Restock restroom and facility supplies
Perform floor care duties including stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors
Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines
Complete assigned tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and on schedule
Maintain professionalism and consistency throughout each shift

Qualifications

Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Custodial or floor care experience is a plus, but not required
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Reliable transportation required
Must pass a background check (required for school setting)
