Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting procedures, and supporting the organization’s financial integrity. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, close processes, and overall accounting operations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Support tax filings and coordinate with external advisors
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to leadership
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • 4–7+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ERP systems or financial automation tools
  • Knowledge of tax compliance and reporting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
