Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant - Boston, MA

We are currently working with a mission-driven, nonprofit organization in Boston that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team on a 3 month contract basis, with the potential to extend. This role will report to the Director of Finance and support special accounting and finance related projects. Applicants must be able to accommodate a hybrid onsite schedule in Boston 2 days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Process AP invoices
• Post journal entries
• Document the AP process
• General ledger reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Intermediate Excel skills required
