Job Description

Position Summary

The Senior Receptionist serves as the primary front-of-house ambassador, owning the reception experience and supporting the overall workplace journey for employees, clients, and visitors. This highly visible role delivers all aspects of reception, visitor management, hospitality, conference services, and workplace support, ensuring every interaction reflects a welcoming, professional, and service-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Reception & Guest Experience

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, clients, visitors, and vendors, delivering a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience.
  • Manage visitor registration, badge issuance, office access procedures, and guest inquiries.
  • Maintain consistent reception coverage, answer and route calls, and respond to workplace requests in a timely manner.
  • Create positive first and lasting impressions through exceptional customer service and hospitality.

Workplace Experience & Hospitality

  • Coordinate conference room reservations, meeting readiness, catering, and hospitality services.
  • Support employee, client, and visitor experiences by ensuring reception, conference rooms, pantries, and common areas remain organized, stocked, and presentation-ready.
  • Assist with workplace events, employee engagement activities, and guest accommodations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver a seamless workplace experience.

Workplace Services & Administrative Support

  • Support day-to-day office services, including mail and shipping services, inventory management, supply replenishment, and workplace requests.
  • Assist with onboarding activities, visitor records, workplace documentation, and access management processes.
  • Provide administrative and light reprographics support, including printing, scanning, binding, and document preparation.
  • Adapt to changing business needs and priorities while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in reception, hospitality, or front-of-house support.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workplace technology tools.
  • Professional, adaptable, and service-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to lift and transport materials up to 25-30 pounds, as needed.

Additional Information

The rate of pay for this role at the noted RRD location is $26/ hour. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay. RRD’s benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
