Position Summary Â
Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service by processing transactions accurately and efficiently and meeting company practices for revenue control. They work directly with customers and handle cash, credit, or debit card payments.Â

Responsibilities Â

Greet customers and assist them in making purchases.Â

Provide customer service and make exceptional guest experiences the priority in every transaction.Â

Process transactions: cash, credit cards, checks, and validation transactions based on location parking rates and requirementsÂ

Use a radio to call the garage if the transaction must be processed manually.Â

Document all transactions following company policy via shift report.Â

Be accountable for all cash received, tendered, and disposition of such payment according to the money drop procedure.Â

Calculate and return change to customers.Â

Ensure that the cash drawer is balanced at the end of each shift.Â

Maintain a clean and organized work area every shift.Â

Answer customer questions and resolve any issues or complaints.Â

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.Â

Qualifications Â
Years of Experience: Entry LevelÂ
Language Skills: Proficient in English both verbally and writtenÂ
Education Requirements: High School Diploma/GEDÂ

Requirements:Â

Be able to read, write and verbally communicate in EnglishÂ

Be prepared to sit for long periods and walk short distancesÂ

Possess the manual dexterity to operate essential office equipment, including computers and cash registersÂ

Possess the mental ability to be able to process cash and manual transactionsÂ

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 poundsÂ

Be at least 18 years of ageÂ

Maintain uniform standards while around the accountÂ

Be able to pass a criminal background checkÂ
