The Enterprise Risk Management Associate ensures adherence to Risk programs and implements various risk management processes and strategies for supporting initiatives. Supports Risk areas on managing Issue Management requests and submissions from creation to closure, ensuring information including action plans and risk acceptance documentation are complete, accurate and in compliance with SLAs. Provides direct support, participation, and oversight for developing, managing, and executing the Issue Management Standard. Partners with Business Lines to recommend Issue Management best practices. Develop applications with Microsoft Power Apps to meet business requirements and streamline processes. Understanding and leveraging issue management data to perform analytics and capabilities including ETL, data aggregation and reporting for better management insights around issues. Provides recommendations and develops new MIS capabilities including enhanced reporting and automation. Requirements include Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent degree or equivalent work experience; 5+ Years work experience in Risk Management or Risk Analytics; proficiency with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Products; experience with data warehouse, data extraction tools, and analytics software and methods specifically with SQL & PowerBI; strong knowledge of Power Apps development and integration with Microsoft Power Suite tools; advanced understanding of key inherent risk and risk management control practices; strong risk management principles, methodologies and tools, governance principles and activity preferably in a financial services technology environment; strong problem-solving skills; ability to operate independently in a complex, matrixed environment; ability to handle conflict resolution; ability to adjust to new developments; strong communication, analytical, organizational and project management skills; experience with regulatory compliance and corporate governance standards; ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities. The role embraces a strong risk culture and expects proactive and responsible approach toward risk management. Working conditions include frequent minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking, with occasional moving and lifting light equipment and/or furniture depending on location.
