Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Wage: $26/hour

  • Full-time positions available

  • Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

  • Location: Delta Airlines Boston Logan Airport

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our airport customer service team!

Guide the airport customer and baggage services team to ensure excellent service for every passenger to create a positive airport experience. Keep the airport baggage claim area neat and organized while assisting customers to find lost luggage. 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead training classes to ensure team members are able to provide the highest level of service possible

  • Complete and manage training records, schedules, reports, supply ordering, and billing

  • Audit training records and resolve discrepancies as needed

  • Prepare and distribute reports detailing training activities and needs

  • Manage employee and payroll information in the HR system while maintaining strict confidentiality of all station personnel records

  • Process employment applications and new hire paperwork, including assisting with interviewing

  • Support onboarding by processing fingerprinting and badging and providing information about benefits and policies 

  • Provide coverage for supervisor shifts as needed

  • Follow all HHS and regulatory procedures and best practices

  • Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment

  • Computer skills, including proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills 

  • Attention to detail and excellent organization skills

  • Preferred: Proficiency in languages other than English, especially Spanish

  • Preferred: XX experience (housekeeping, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, airline)

Physical Requirements

  • Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift

  • Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
