General Summary:
Reporting directly to the Regional Director-FCC the administrative tech assistant provides confidential administrative assistance relating to technology support, family documentation, and educator documentation. Â Answers phones, files, manages parent fees, responds to inquiries, refers to appropriate staff, takes messages, and relays information as needed; organize and maintain children and educator files, prepare and distribute related materials.
Essential Functions:
- Collect and maintain children’s files with all required up to date documentation.
- Collect and maintain Family Child Care Educator’s files with all required up to date documentation, to include assisting with FCC educator liability insurance renewals.
- Maintain FCC databases with accurate and up to date family and FCC Educator data.
- Perform all functions as they relate to parent fee collection and billing.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, take messages, and relay information as needed.
- Assist families with being added to the state’s waitlist system for future child care enrollment (Kinderwait).
- Actively monitor and pull families from the state waitlist when vacancies become available.
- Collect documentation necessary to process family’s initial enrollment authorizations as well as reauthorizations.
- Monitor and communicate office supplies inventory to Regional Director.
- Assist Family Childcare Educators with technical support around Nurtury and the state’s online computer system(s).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Familiar with, and knowledgeable in the use of social media and web-based platforms.
- Some college level education and/or 1 to 3 years of related experience, preferably in a non-profit setting
