Position Overview

The Assistant Vice President will provide strategic leadership for graduate admission while partnering with campus colleagues to advance a comprehensive Graduate Enrollment model that supports the College's long-term enrollment goals. As a key member of the Division of Enrollment Management leadership team and President’s Council, the AVP develops and implements comprehensive and cross-functional enrollment strategies that support institutional growth while advancing Endicott College's mission and strategic priorities. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to shape the future of graduate enrollment at Endicott College. The AVP will assess current practices, identify opportunities for innovation and growth, and develop an organizational structure and strategy that positions the College for long-term success in a rapidly evolving graduate education marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

Graduate Enrollment Growth and Student Recruitment (40%)

Leads recruitment, admission, and new student enrollment efforts to achieve enrollment objectives across graduate and adult programs.

  • Develop data-informed recruitment and yield strategies for graduate and adult student populations.
  • Partner with Communications & Marketing to implement integrated communication and recruitment campaigns.
  • Oversee recruitment staff, territory management, and enrollment pipelines.
  • Monitor enrollment performance and adjust strategies to maximize matriculation and net tuition revenue.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously assess comprehensive recruitment and enrollment strategies that guide prospective students from inquiry through enrollment and facilitate a successful transition to their academic program.

Strategic Enrollment Planning and Organizational Development (30%)

Provides strategic leadership to advance the College's graduate enrollment model through planning, assessment, and organizational development.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive graduate enrollment strategy aligned with institutional priorities.
  • Assess enrollment trends, market opportunities, and organizational needs to inform future growth.
  • Recommend enhancements to organizational structure, staffing, and operational processes that support long-term enrollment success.
  • Establish enrollment goals, performance metrics, and assessment practices to guide continuous improvement.

Campus Partnership and Collaborative Leadership (30%)

Establish collaborative leadership across the institution to strengthen graduate enrollment initiatives and enhance the student experience.

  • Develop collaborative partnerships with academic leadership and campus partners to support graduate enrollment goals.
  • Lead and develop the Graduate Admission team while fostering a culture of collaboration, service, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that support newly enrolled graduate students from matriculation through to course registration.
  • Represent Graduate Enrollment on institutional committees and serve as a resource on graduate enrollment best practices.

Community Engagement
Be an active participant in the life of the College by attending and supporting major events such as Commencement, Homecoming, and other all-hands-on-deck gatherings. As a member of the leadership team, model a strong commitment to community engagement.

Reporting Structure


Reports to the Vice President of Enrollment Management. Works under general supervision.

Supervisory Responsibilities


Will supervise the Director of Graduate Admission Recruitment and 1-2 Associate Directors.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of eight years of previous experience in graduate admission, enrollment management and/or a comparable position preferred.
  • Graduate degree required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, preferred.
  • Prior experience working with a CRM, specifically Slate (Technolutions), preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Work schedule includes occasional travel, evening and weekend commitments in support of recruitment or institutional priorities.

In compliance with Massachusetts pay transparency law, the annual base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000 . Endicott College considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, education, specialized skills, internal equity, and external market data when extending an offer. The final salary is determined by the Human Resources Office based on these factors. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or other compensation.
