Delaware North Sportservice is searching for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for the management of the warehouse team, determining quantities of food, beverage, and related products to adequately stock the warehouse and vending locations. Unit Description

Delaware North purchased the historic Boston Garden in 1975 and later constructed its successor, TD Garden, and neighboring The Hub on Causeway, both of which we continue to own and operate. As New England’s largest sports and entertainment arena, TD Garden is the home of the storied NHL’s Boston Bruins and NBA’s Boston Celtics franchises and hosts over 200 events annually with over 3.5 million visitors.


Responsibilities

  • Schedule, manage, train, and coach hourly warehouse team members on policies, procedures, duties, and activities, including receiving commissary merchandise, verifying receiving slips, forwarding invoices, confirming accurate inventory, and ensuring correct stock is delivered to the correct locations
  • Adhere to updated sanitation laws and requirements, ensuring proper sanitation procedures are followed by team members
  • Determine quantities of food, beverage, and related products required for adequate stock and purchase as necessary, following established company guidelines
  • Prepare various operational reports, keeping records relating to purchases, sales, and requisitions, and complete a monthly inventory

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of food service experience
  • No college degree required
  • Experience in inventory distribution and control, logistics, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
  • Managerial experience
  • Capacity to work flexible hours
