Responsibilities
Candidates should have a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Specifically seeking candidates with an interest in focusing on the health care industry. Candidates must possess strong academic credentials, have excellent oral and written communication skills, have excellent drafting skills, and have strong corporate transactional/M&A and health care regulatory experience. Preferred candidates should have prior M&A experience on the buyer side and seller side (such as experience drafting and negotiating asset, stock, merger, employment, escrow, and other agreements typically relevant in these types of transactions) as well as familiarity with applicable regulatory issues in such transactions (such as Stark, fraud/abuse, and the like). Ideal candidates should exhibit the highest level of legal and practical problem-solving skills, strong oral presentation and drafting ability, and client relations acumen. The firm is looking for individuals who enjoy working in a team environment and are seeking opportunities for growth and the desire to work on a broad range of business transactions in the health care industry.
Qualifications
The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $275,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
