The Coyle Company is a boutique life insurance planning firm that specializes in designing and managing sophisticated life insurance portfolios that help ultra-affluent families distribute their wealth as they intend.  As a Case Design Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales functions and policy service. Collaborating closely with the Case Design Team, Client Relationship Managers, and other team members, you will help develop and model sophisticated insurance solutions that integrate with advanced estate and wealth transfer planning strategies to drive exceptional advisor and client outcomes.

Support New Business Efforts

·       Collaborate with Producers, Director of Case Design, and Head of Advanced Planning to support the development of client opportunities from the initial prospect phase through the final sales presentation:

o   Collect and interpret estate data and case information to gain fundamental understanding of case and determine planning approach

o   Understand, illustrate, and present a range of life insurance products including PPLI

o   Generate pricing analyses, build illustration comparisons, and model funding recommendations for prospective clients, including scenarios that incorporate advanced estate planning techniques such as lifetime gifting, split dollar, private financing, and GRAT funding.

o   Initiate and participate in internal planning meetings relevant to assigned active cases

     ·   Conduct policy reviews, applying critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses from both product and planning perspectives

·       Be a reliable and trusted team member to help with special projects and contribute during internal planning meetings.

·       Foster a positive work environment by demonstrating proficiency, enthusiasm, teamwork, and adherence to high-quality standards, including confidentiality requirements.

Support Client Service

·       Work collectively with Director of Client Experience to evaluate insurance policies for suitability, propose potential policy enhancements or required changes, and update policy review materials.

·       Order, review, and make an inventory of in-force illustrations for prospective clients and existing clients.

·       Cultivate and maintain relationships with key personnel at insurance carriers.



Requirements

·       A bachelor’s degree required.

·       A minimum of 5+ years of experience in life insurance case design, with meaningful exposure to advanced planning techniques.

·       Possess strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

·       Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of insurance products, carrier illustration software, marketing resources, and advanced markets planning techniques, including lifetime gifting and trust funding strategies, split dollar, private financing, GRAT funding, and related estate and business planning concepts.

·       Experience in financial modeling with the desire to develop and enhance both sales and service presentations.

·       Capable of conducting oneself with a focus on service excellence and client-first decision making.

·       Be a self-starter with the ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Experience with organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills to manage daily workflow.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel, Salesforce (preferred).

·       Candidates residing within 50 miles of our Boston office are required to report on site twice a week.
