The Musolino Laboratory in the Center for Genomic Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic candidate to join our research group. Our research group is a translational neuroscience laboratory spanning multiple neurodegenerative disorders with a focus on genetic vascular disorders that affect the nervous system.

Job Summary

The laboratory seeks an exceptional candidate to coordinate natural history studies under the Young Genetic Stroke Alliance (YGSA), MLIV Natural History Study, and ACTA2 Natural History Study. This support will expand research efforts at MGH and help move basic science efforts from bench to bedside. The clinical research coordinator will work very independently but receive some guidance and supervision from the Principal Investigator. The job requires high level time management and organizational skills.

Essential Functions:
-Reviews proposals for compliance with sponsor and organizational guidelines; verify all sponsor requirements are met.

-Recruiting patients for clinical trials, conducts phone.

-Verifies the accuracy of study forms and updates them per protocol.

-Prepares data for analysis and data entry.

-Documents patient visits and procedures.

-Assists with regulatory binders and QA/QC Procedures.

-Assists with interviewing study subjects.

-Assists with study regulator submissions.
