Role Overview 

The Digital Affiliate Channel Manager is responsible for managing and growing Perch Energy’s digital affiliate acquisition channel. This role will own affiliate partner relationships, campaign execution, channel performance, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, highly organized, data-driven, and experienced in managing digital partnerships that generate measurable customer acquisition results. The Digital Affiliate Channel Manager will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Product, and technical teams to ensure affiliate programs are effectively launched, integrated, measured, and optimized across Perch Energy’s active markets. 


Key Responsibilities 


Digital Affiliate Partner Management 

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with existing digital affiliate partners. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for affiliate partners, ensuring clear communication around available markets, offers, campaign priorities, and performance expectations. 
  • Identify, recruit, evaluate, and onboard new affiliate partners. 
  • Develop strong, productive relationships with partners to increase qualified subscriber acquisition. 
  • Coordinate partner launches, market expansions, and changes to available offers. 
  • Ensure partners follow Perch Energy sales, marketing, compliance, and customer experience requirements. 
  • Support commercial discussions related to partner compensation, campaign structure, performance expectations, and growth opportunities. 

Channel Growth & Performance 

  • Own performance of the Digital Affiliate channel against subscriber acquisition, conversion, cost, and quality targets. 
  • Monitor partner performance and identify opportunities to improve volume, conversion, CAC, and overall channel effectiveness. 
  • Develop partner scorecards and conduct regular performance reviews. 
  • Identify underperforming partners or campaigns and implement corrective actions. 
  • Recommend shifts in partner mix, campaign focus, offers, and acquisition strategy based on performance. 
  • Identify opportunities to expand successful partners into additional markets, products, and customer segments. 

Campaign Management & Optimization 

  • Coordinate digital affiliate campaigns across available markets and products. 
  • Support development and optimization of landing pages, email campaigns, in-app promotions, digital advertising, and other affiliate-driven customer acquisition programs. 
  • Work with internal teams and partners to test messaging, offers, creative, calls-to-action, and conversion funnels. 
  • Drive ongoing A/B testing and campaign optimization. 
  • Ensure affiliate campaigns accurately reflect current program availability, savings offers, eligibility requirements, and customer messaging. 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve the customer journey from initial partner engagement through enrollment. 

Technical Integrations & Affiliate Operations 

  • Coordinate with internal technical teams and external partners on affiliate integrations, tracking, lead delivery, and enrollment workflows. 
  • Support implementation and ongoing management of API-based or other system integrations with affiliate partners. 
  • Help troubleshoot tracking issues, data discrepancies, failed integrations, attribution issues, and partner reporting problems. 
  • Ensure affiliate tracking, source attribution, campaign IDs, and partner data are captured accurately. 
  • Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities to automate manual partner processes and improve data exchange. 

Reporting & Business Insights 

  • Track key Digital Affiliate KPIs, including: 
  • Subscriber acquisition 
  • Lead and enrollment volume 
  • Conversion rates 
  • Customer acquisition cost 
  • Partner productivity 
  • Customer quality and retention 
  • Market performance 
  • Campaign performance 
  • Partner with Analytics and Business Intelligence resources to ensure accurate channel reporting. 
  • Translate channel performance into clear recommendations and next actions. 
  • Provide regular updates on results, risks, opportunities, and expected future performance. 
  • Use data to identify meaningful changes in partner or campaign performance and recommend corrective actions. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Work closely with Sales and Operations to align affiliate acquisition efforts with available project capacity and market priorities. 
  • Coordinate with Analytics to evaluate channel and partner performance. 
  • Partner with Marketing and Product teams on campaign execution and customer experience improvements. 
  • Collaborate with technical and engineering resources on integrations, tracking, and system enhancements. 
  • Communicate upcoming capacity needs, market changes, and channel opportunities to internal stakeholders. 
  • Support development of new affiliate programs, partner models, and acquisition strategies. 

Requirements


Skills & Qualifications 

  • 4+ years of experience in digital affiliate marketing, performance marketing, channel partnerships, customer acquisition, or a related field. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing affiliate or digital acquisition partners. 
  • Strong understanding of digital customer acquisition funnels and performance metrics. 
  • Experience managing campaigns against CAC, conversion, volume, revenue, or customer quality targets. 
  • Strong commercial and relationship-management skills. 
  • Comfortable using data to identify problems, evaluate performance, and make recommendations. 
  • Experience working with affiliate platforms such as ShareASale, Impact, CJ Affiliate, Partnerize, or similar platforms preferred. 
  • Technical familiarity with APIs, system integrations, affiliate tracking, attribution, and data flows is a plus. 
  • Experience working with technical teams to implement or troubleshoot partner integrations, tracking issues, data discrepancies, or API-based lead and enrollment flows is preferred. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both commercial and technical stakeholders. 
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Product, and technical teams. 
  • Proficiency with Excel, CRM systems, affiliate platforms, and digital reporting tools. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Issues with attribution, lead delivery, or enrollment flows are identified and resolved quickly. 
  • Internal teams have clear visibility into channel performance and expected volume. 
  • Digital Affiliate becomes a predictable, scalable, and efficient subscriber acquisition channel for Perch Energy.
